In early 2026, I invited the congregation at Trinity Lutheran Church to choose a song they love and share the story of how it has shaped them, moved them, and stayed close to their hearts. Then we held a concert where those songs were brought to life by members of the Trinity family. Some storytellers performed their own songs, and some decided to leave the performing to others. Between selections, we heard the powerful and inspiring stories behind the music. The event was called SongStories.

The song I chose was “The Tune Is All They Hear,” written by my mom, Pam Kepler.
